Hansel, Gretel and ZOMBIES beats

Hansel and Gretel are kicked out of the house by their evil stepmom, who’s hogging all the limited food supply. She claims they need to get their street smarts up to par, being there’s a zombie apocalypse going down in the streets.

Hansel and Gretel make their way back home once, after being abandoned in the city, by following a trail of ammo they left. The second time, however, they ran out of ammo because they were led too far into the city.

Lost, a tall woman in rich furs offers them a delicious pizza in the middle of Times Square, and invites them in to her place to stay, where she promises warmth and food.

Her “home” is the New York Public Library. Though it’s gated off, she has the key that lets them in.

She then forces books upon books upon books into their brains– she’s actually a zombie, see, and the smarter the brain, the better the taste.

Decapitation via guillotine is her method of getting to her victims’ brains. But, the book-smart kids learn how to use such a contraption and turn the tables against her when her creepy zombie self tries to kill them.

Victorious, they make their way back home, where they find their evil stepmom has died of obesity. They live happily ever after!

Saving Self > Population Control

I had just finished replenishing a little of my car’s gas supply down in San Diego… (Read on for an adventurous story!)

My overactive imagination would not have minded some serious population control… Though I did not care the slightest bit for the guys in front of me, I had to point out that their gas tank was uncapped. Really, it was a selfish act– I could have cared less if their truck had gone up in flames, but I was hungry and knew they’d be getting on the freeway too, and didn’t want to be stuck behind their burning truck for an hour while the highway cleanup crew took care of the remains.

And yes, they did defy physics– I’m not sure how all of them packed into the truck, either.

Well, here we are– a sneak-peak at this year’s film! Tonight officially marks the start of animation; I just completed all the animatic business– next I’ll need to get voices, but aside from that… IT’S ANIMATION TIME!

This week we had to draw our neighbor’s room, or what we imagine their room would look like. Though I know what Gideon’s room looks like, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind having a master control chair in some sort of mech with a million bajillion monitors to watch Kamen Rider on!
