Colored pencil is definitely one of my favorite mediums to use. I use Prismacolor's colored pencils-- they come in vibrant colors and are really smooth and blend brilliantly! Please also check out my Concentration, because I have more colored pencil works there.
Portraits
Had to do a self-portrait, so I took home some paper over a weekend and sketched it out. Back at school, our teacher told us to include a hand in the composition, so I made it turning over the page that had me printed on it.

Animals
Got a set of 120 Prismacolors, and, of course, had to try out just about all of them. Found this pic in a car ad. Isn't he CUTE? hehe. Don't know how long it took... Made it over a course of 3 days, at least, but hours definitely vary!
Cartoons
THE AWKING BIRD! (Listen to the awking bird! Awk! Awk! Awk!) hehe... Okay, so there's this bird across the way from where I live, and I'm not really sure what it looks like, but it goes off every five minutes. It kinda sounds like a mix of dumb/lost/confused/trying-to-annoy.
Greek Guy
This one's historically inaccurate; the Greeks actually performed their
sports naked... However, that became an issue, so I slapped on some Roman
clothes.
